Progress continues at new health facility

Trustees with the LeFlore County Public Buildings Authority approve bonds and insurance for builders of new LeFlore County Health Department.

The LeFlore County Public Buildings Authority met Monday morning and upon receipt of contract bonds and a certificate of insurance from Oakridge Builders gave the go-ahead to start the construction of a new health department in Poteau.
According to the job superintendent with ORB, the structural dirt work is progressing and they are waiting for geothermal results and engineering designs before the new geothermal environmental control system can by installed.
The facility is scheduled to be completed by June.
