Ray Vermillion

Ray Vermillion, 73, of Wister died Sunday, Aug. 28,
2011, in Poteau. Ray was born in Whiteface, Texas, on
Dec. 20, 1937, to Holley L. and Vinita (Stroud) Vermillion.
He was a realtor. Ray was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife Cecelia of the home; daughter,
Jean Morris of Ratliff City; son and daughter-in-law,
Dennis and Lisa Vermillion of Wister; three grandchildren,
Shelby Hill, Monty Hill and Sara Vermillion; brother,
Marvin Vermillion of Austin, Texas; numerous nieces,
nephews, other relatives, loved ones and friends.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 2, at the
Oakland Cemetery Pavilion, Poteau, with The Revs. Jack
Covey and Jim Cook officiating. In lieu of flowers contributions
may be made to Catch a Dream or Make a
Wish.
