Raymond Edward Glenn, 70, of Howe, died Monday, Oct. 15, 2012, in Howe Raymond was born Jan. 12, 1942 in Wister to Lawrence Edward and Amaytha (Hall) Glenn.
He was a lifelong cattle rancher and quarter horse breeder He always loved telling stories about his life experiences. Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, several aunts and uncles and one brother-in-law, Charles Lenard
Raymond is survived by his wife of 45 years, Carrie Jean (Lenard) Glenn of the home; daughter, Peggy Glenn of Tahlequah; son, Raymond “Eddie” Glenn of Lawrence, Kan.; one brother, Ron Glenn and wife Harriett of Hodgen; one sister, Kaye (Glenn) Cauthron and husband Ernie (Buck) of Fanshawe; brothers-in-law, Rolly Lenard of Hackett, Ark., George Lenard of Shreveport, La., James Lenard and wife, Lynn of Haskell; sisters-in-law, Linda Lenard of Crystal Springs, Miss., Emmie Carpenter and husband Gary of Wister; Janie Owens and husband, Davy of Summerfield; one aunt, Ruth Wilson of Poteau; a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, great-nieces, great nephews and friends.
Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 18, at the First Baptist Church in Heavener with the Revs. Sam Dyer, Jim Cook, Jeff Bengs and Bentley Hill officiating Interment will follow in Mount View Cemetery, Glendale.
