Ringers of the Bells

The Poteau Lady Pirates basketball team poses outside Walmart near a Salvation Army Christmas donation site Wednesday morning. For one hour throughout Wednesday, one member of the team ran the bell as customers entered and exited the establishment in hopes of soliciting donations to help the 2011 Salvation Army's Christmas Donation Drive. The Salvation Army's coordinator for helping get the Lady Pirate players involved is Lewis Gill, back left.
