MORRIS — The Eastern Oklahoma Riverdawgs Major American Legion baseball team suffered a heartbreaking 6-5 loss in 10 innings to Okmulgee Wednesday night.
After Spiro's Slater Dunn hit an RBI fielder's choice to score Cameron's Dale Pearson in the eighth inning to tie the game at 5-5, the host team broke the tie in the 10th inning on an error.
The Riverdawgs will play at 1 p.m. Saturday against the Oklahoma City Bulls in a doubleheader at Oklahoma City's Dolese Park. Then, they will be back home at 6 p.m. Thursday in a single, nine-inning game against Okmulgee. At this time, the game will be at Cameron, but it could be moved to Pocola.
