BENTONVILLE, Ark. — The good news was Thursday's road game against Bentonville started off good for the Eastern Oklahoma Riverdawgs Major American Legion baseball team. However, it was all Bentonville afterward as the host team posted a 13-1 victory over the Riverdawgs.
Stilwell's Zack Bean hit a sacrifice fly, scoring Spiro's Joe T. Ross, to make it 1-0 in favor of the ’Dawgs in the first inning, but that was it offensively for the locals.
The ’Dawgs will return to action this afternoon in a road doubleheader beginning at 2 p.m. in Okmulgee.
