Riverdawgs split pair Tuesday at Rogers, Ark.

ROGERS, Ark. — The Eastern Oklahoma Riverdawgs Major American Legion baseball team split its Tuesday dobuleheader with Rogers. The Riverdawgs took the nightcap 9-2 after losing the opener 11-2.
The Riverdawgs will play in the Katzer Tournament today through Saturday in Fort Smith, Ark. They will meet Russellville, Ark., at 5:30 p.m. this afternoon at Hunts Park. The tournament is a pool-play event, and the winners of each pool will play for the championship on Saturday, the runners-up in each pool for third place, third-place pool teams for fifth place and the fourth-place pool teams for seventh place.
To Get There — Take Oklahoma State Highway 112 north to Pocola. Take U.S. 271 north to Fort Smith, which forms Interstate 540. Take I-540 to Old Greenwood Road exit. Take Old Greenwood Road north to Dodson Avenue. Turn left to baseball field.
