Robert Stephen Butler

Robert Stephen Butler, 67, of Kansas City, M., formerly of Panama, died Friday, Dec. 16, 2011 at his home. Robert was a Vietnam veteran. He retired after 31 years as a maintenance man for Georgia Pacific Box Co. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Lori Bell Butler; four brothers, Benton Butler, Reuben Butler, Charles Butler and Bobby Butler.
Survivors include his wife, Pat of the home; son, Stephen Butler and wife, Melanie of Kansas City, Mo.; stepson, Randy Moffett and wife Angie of Kansas City; stepdaughter, Tammy Reed of Kansas City; two sisters, Lois Berg and husband Lawrence of Mena, Ark., and Mary Plummer and husband Darrell of Poteau; four brothers, Joe Butler and James Butler of Fort Smith, Ark., J.C. Ahart and wife Barbara of Kearney, Mo., and John Butler of Independence, Mo.; 11 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A private family memorial service will be held.
