The Dakota McCoy Memorial Bass Tournament took place Saturday on Wards Landing at Wister Lake. There were 18 boats filled with anglers who caught 38 bass that collectively weighed 93.1 pounds. Each fish averaged 2.45 pounds, with four limits caught.
Jason Roberts and Bobby Denton won the event with 16.55 pounds to earn them $430.
Dennis Gullick and Danny Breashears were second to earn $250 thanks to hauling in 15.08 pounds of bass — 4.96 pounds of which was thanks to Danny's big bass winner — dubbed “The Ram Beast of the Week” — to earn him an additional $170.
Randy Martin and Bucky McGee were third (11.91 pounds, $170).
Save the world, recycle.
God bless our troops and our veterans.
Have a great weekend.
