Ronald Lee Hunt

Ronald Lee Hunt, 74, of Panama died Friday, Sept. 7, 2012, in Tulsa. Ron was born May 30, 1938, in Albany, Calif., to Atlee Fulmer and Ethel Mae (Towne) Hunt. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and Marines. Ron was the security captain at AES. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Robert Hill; and daughter, Fay Daffron.
Survivors include his wife, Velma May Hunt of the home; daughters, Martha Shelton of Garden Valley, Calif., Julie Hobson of Vacaville, Calif., and Heather Mulligan of Panama; one son, Richard Hunt of Clear Lake, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brother, Richard Hunt of Sunnyvale, Calif.; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and loved ones.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 13, at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, with  Rev. Harold Thompson officiating.
The family will be at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6-8 pm to visit with relatives and friends.
Arrangements are under the direction of Evans and Miller Funeral Home.
