Ronnie Hollie, 68, of BokosheÂ entered the Lordâ€™s kingdom on March 19, 2012, in Fort Smith, Ark.
Ronnie was born October 18, 1943 in Henry, to Charles Cyril and Gladys Bernice (Cheshier) Hollie.Â He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Sharon Stiles and Linda Stark.Â Ronnie was a U.S. veteran, mechanic, chicken farmer and cattleman.Â He was a member of the Bokoshe Church of Christ.Â
He is survived by his devoted wife of 47 years, Leta Jean Hollie; son and his wife, Kerry and Mary Hollie; daughter and her husband, Kathy and Dale Fout; grandchildren, Christina Hollie, Kerry G. Hollie II, Kailyn Hollie, Stephen DeWitt, Dakota Fout, Dyllan Fout; one great grandchild, Addyson DeWitt all of Bokoshe; brothers and their wives, Gary and Viola Hollie of Keota, Terry and Wanda Hollie of Stigler; sister, Sue Taylor-Dunn of Poteau; numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, March 24, at the Bokoshe Church of Christ with Joe Avery, Rev. Jim Loris, and Don Cherry officiating.Â Burial will be in Old Bokoshe Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kerry Hollie II, Lary Carver, Brad Stroud, Kerry Osburn, Wayne Jetton, John Labor Jr., Charles Perdue, Wes Stroud. Honorary pallbearers will be Jack Brewer and Larry Hammons.
The family will visit with relatives and friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
