Rough night of football for Poteau freshmen, PKMS teams at Vian

October 9, 2013

VIAN — Things did not go well for the Poteau Pirates freshmen football team, nor the Pansy Kidd Middle School squads Tuesday night as they all lost to host Vian.
The Wolverines took the freshmen game 34-12, the eighth-grade contest 28-22 and the seventh-grade game 54-0.
All three local teams return to action next week against Broken Bow. The Pirate freshmen will travel to Memorial Stadium to face the Savages at 6 p.m. Monday.
The PKMS teams will entertain the Savages at Costner Stadium beginning at 5 p.m. next Tuesday.
