Ruby Tamplin, 88, of Poteau died Saturday, July 7, 2012, in Poteau.
Ruby was born April 14, 1924, in Bluffton, Ark., to Ben and Nica (Evans) Markham. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Port Tamplin; stepson, Millard Tamplin; grandson, Edwin Boyce Liles; and granddaughter, Brandy Gail LeForce.
Survivors include her six sons, Clarence Boyd Liles Jr. of Rogers, Ark., Boyce Edwin Liles,  Dwane Liles, Randy Liles  all of Heavener, Dennis Liles of San Antonio, Texas, and Shayne Liles of Poteau; stepson, Jerry and wife, Reba Tamplin, of Wister, two daughters, Evelyn Blackwell of Independence, Mo., and LuAnn Denboer of Fort Worth, Texas; stepdaughter, Sue Garibay of Williams, Ariz.; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; other relatives and loved ones.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 10, at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, with Rev. Joe Owen officiating. Burial will be in Heavener Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Brandon Richie, Danny Liles, Jim LeForce, Jerry LeForce, Lane Perrin and Lynn Scarberry.
