Searchers find boy, 3, near school

December 3, 2013

A 3-year-old boy wandered away from Poteau Primary Elementary School, causing several tense minutes for police and school employees Tuesday morning.
The child was found after about 25 minutes on Redbud Lane, Superintendent Don Sjoberg said.
The preschool pupil apparently slipped through a fence during recess about 9 a.m., Sjoberg said.
