Season ends for CASC baseball team at 2013 Region II Tournament; Redlands edges Vikings in consolation final on Sunday

BARTLESVILLE — One of the big problems over the last month of the season for the Carl Albert State College baseball team was getting the big hit. It bit them big time Sunday afternoon.
The Vikings stranded eight runners on base, and could not get the big hit when needed, as they lost 2-1 to Redlands Community College in the consolation finals of the Region II Tournament at Doenges Ballpark.
The Vikings end the season at 23-31.
