Seminole State teams sweep Carl Albert; Monday night's home basketball games against NOC-Tonkawa moved to today, tonight

February 26, 2013

SEMINOLE — Despite having three double-figure scorers against Seminole State College, it wasn't enough for the Carl Albert State College Vikings in their 68-47 loss to the Trojans on Saturday afternoon.
D. Brown's 18 points weren't enough for the Carl Albert State College Lady Vikings in their 76-51 loss to the Seminole State College Lady Belles on Saturday afternoon.
The CASC teams were to have entertained the Northern Oklahoma College-Tonkawa Lady Mavericks and Mavericks on Monday night at Mick Thompson Fieldhouse. However, due to threatening wintry weather that could hamper the NOC-Tonkawa teams traveling capabilities, the games have been moved to today and tonight. The women's game will begin at 5 this afternoon, followed by the men's contest at 7 tonight.
Editor's note — Due to threatening weather, this afternoon's Carl Albert State College softball home doubleheader against Crowder College, Mo., which was slated for a 2 p.m. start, has been postponed. No make-up date has been set. The Lady Vikings are slated to return to action at 2 p.m. Thursday with a home twinbill against Northeastern Oklahoma A&M.
