Senior QB has waited whole life for this season's opening night

A famous song lyric says, “To dream the impossible dream.” While Poteau High School senior quarterback Wilson Klutts may have thought one of his dreams — starting to begin his final season of high school football — seemed like it was never going to come true, he knew it would eventually. That dream will become a reality at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Costner Stadium when the Pirates begin the 2011 season entertaining the Checotah Wildcats.
“I've been ready for this night probably my whole life,” Klutts said. “Everyone looks forward to their senior season — until it comes. You've got all these jitters and butterflies in your stomach. You just can't wait — until it (game night) hits. I'm very much looking forward to it (Friday's season opener).”
