Shady Point elects new trustee

The voters decided Tuesday who among four candidates will fill the vacant seat on the Shady Point Board of Trustees.
The newest member to the board is Shady Point resident Becky Smith.
Smith, along with Henry Wells, Bud Killion and LeRoy Smith filed for the at-large position.
During Tuesday's special election, 63 of the town's residents cast their vote, 23 in favor of Becky Smith.
LeRoy Smith and Killion tied for second in the race each receiving 19 votes, trailed by Wells with two.
