Shady Point voters to cast their ballot Tuesday

January 13, 2014

Shady Point voters will be asked to fill an at-large seat on the town Board of Trustees today.
The polling place at the Mike Mass Civic Center will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Four candidates will be on the special election ballot: LeRoy Smith, Henry Wells, Becky Smith and Derrall Bud Killion.
The special election was called after town trustee were unable to agree between two candidates for the position.
Both candidates were interviewed in a public session by the board, but neither was elected.
