Skyler Gene Leroy
Skyler Gene Leroy of Mansfield, Ark., was born Nov. 9, 2003, and entered Heaven’s Gates on Sunday Feb. 16, 2014.
He is survived by his mother, Amanda Stell, and stepfather, Jeff Stell, of Mansfield; father, Billy Leroy, and stepmother, Jaime Leroy, of Heavener; brother, Trenton Leroy, and stepbrother, Ian Stell, of the home in Mansfield; stepsister, Caitlin Brown, and stepbrothers, Justin Brown and Shelton Cumbie of Heavener; grandparents, Bob and Kay Haag of Poteau, Teresa and Jon Matlock of Poteau, Brenda Lee of Rolla, Mo., and Helen Stell of Savannah, Ga.
Services were held Wednesday, Feb. 19, at Abbott Church with burial in Pleasant Grove No. 3 Cemetery under the direction of Martin Funeral Home in Mansfield.
Pallbearers were Dennis Stell, Orion Stell, Sherman York, Chris Morrison, Derek Woodrall and Bobby Haag. Honorary pallbearers were 188th Fighter Wing out of Fort Smith, Deputy Rebecca Hendrix, Deputy Bradley Warren, Sgt. Jason Robertson and Undersherriff Kendall Morgan all of the LeFlore County Sherriff’s Department.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Skylar’s name to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 2151, Memphis, Tenn. 38101.
