February 19, 2013

SPIRO — The Spiro Bulldogs had little problem with the Wilburton Diggers in Saturday night's Class 3A District Tournament title game at the Spiro High School Multi-Purpose Center. The ’Dogs clawed the Diggers 87-44.
The Bulldogs (17-7), winners of 11 of their last 13 games, will play Antlers at 8 p.m. Thursday in the Class 3A Regional Tournament in Wilburton. Things didn't fare as well for the Lady Bulldogs, who lost 52-41 to the Lady Diggers.
The Lady Bulldogs (12-12) will play an elimination game at 1:30 p.m. Thursday against Coalgate in the Class 3A Regional Tournament in Wilburton. They must win three games in three in three days to make it to next week's area tournament.
