SPIRO — Despite chilly weather Friday afternoon, the Spiro Bulldogs were able to get to play in the Class 3A Showcase, and didn't let the cold weather affect them as they routed the Hugo Buffaloes 15-0 in a four-inning, run-rule game.
The Bulldogs played Wilburton on Friday night, then will wrap up the event with a noon game Saturday against Beggs. The ’Dogs were scheduled to face Locust Grove at 2 p.m. Saturday in Springdale, Ark., but the game was canceled.
