Spiro Bulldogs have shot at undefeated Seminole tonight

With a two-game winning streak under their belts, the Spiro Bulldogs will try to do something no one has this season — knock off the Seminole Chieftains at 7:30 p.m. tonight at McClain Stadium.
“They're undefeated, big and sound,” Spiro Coach Chris Bunch said. “They don't make mistakes. They're well coached. They do everything right. They don't make mistakes. Right now, they're the ideal team to have.”
The Bulldogs (3-3, 2-1 in District 3A-8) are in a three-way tie for second place in the district with Stigler and Eufaula, one game behind the Chieftains (6-0, 3-0).
“If we can get past these guys, it would sure make things pretty,” Bunch said about the postseason and potential district championship pictures. “That's the big key. I just hope our kids play well.”'
