Spiro has tough football road test tonight against Eufaula Ironheads

October 5, 2012

The Spiro Bulldogs football team will have its fourth tough road test of the season at 7:30 p.m. tonight when they travel to meet the Eufaula Ironheads in a crucial District 3A-8 contest.
The Bulldogs (2-3 overall, 1-1 in district play) ended a two-game losing streak last Friday night at McClain Stadium by blanking the Idabel Warriors 17-0.
“It felt good,” said Chris Bunch, Spiro's coach, about last week's victory. “The kids are pumped up, and it made for a better week in practice.”
To Get There — Take Oklahoma State Highway 9 west to Eufaula.
