Spiro hits the road for final football scrimmage tonight at Stilwell

August 24, 2012

SPIRO — The Spiro Bulldogs will get their final football tune-up before next week's season opener as they will scrimmage the Stilwell Indians at 6 p.m. tonight in Stilwell.
The scrimmage was originally slated to take place at McClain Stadium, but due to a new coach at Stilwell and other things the scrimmage was moved to Stilwell.
Chris Bunch, Spiro's coach, said the ’Dogs will do a little more than what they did in last week's first scrimmage of the preseason at Tulsa Webster along with Okmulgee.
“We'll run a few more plays than we did last Thursday,” Bunch said. “We're not going to do anything tricky.”
