Spiro looks for second win in a row, visits Muldrow Friday night

September 8, 2011

The Spiro Bulldogs opened the season last Thursday night with a 44-6 win over the Panama Razorbacks at McClain Stadium.
Not only do the ’Dogs look to make it two straight wins to begin the season Friday night when they visit the Muldrow Bulldogs, but they will look for a little bit of a better performance.
“We had turnovers, fumbles and penalties,” Spiro Coach Chris Bunch said. “We have to improve on that. We can't afford to let that happen this week, or it could put us in a hole. I hope the kids come out disciplined and ready to play. We've mainly worked on our discipline this week. We're also working on doing our assignments and reading our keys — just the basic stuff more than anything else.”
