Spiro seeks end to losing streak tonight against Eufaula

The Spiro Bulldogs are on a three-game losing streak since opening the 2011 season with a 44-6 win over Panama at McClain Stadium.
But since then, the Bulldogs (1-3 overall, 0-1 in District 3A-8) has scored only 29 points, with the six in last week's 23-6 district-opening loss to Idabel coming on Kaleb Guidry's interception return for a touchdown.
“That's been the problem,” Spiro Coach Chris Bunch said.
“We're are playing good defense, but not playing well offensively. It's not just one spot. It's the whole offense. We're not blocking at times. We're not running at times. We're not securing the ball at times. It's a major deal. It's like the offense is snakebit. Everything that can go wrong, is going wrong. Hopefully, we can get it turned around.”
Now, the ’Dogs welcome the Eufaula Ironheads (1-3, 1-0 in district play) to McClain Stadium for a 7:30 p.m. kickoff tonight.
