Sunday Couple Scrambles at Wolf Ridge Golf Course will take place at 2 p.m. Sundays. The entry fee is $15 per person for the nine-hole weekly event.

The Poteau Lady Pirates Dugout Club is selling personalized bricks to be placed in the backstop at the Poteau High School softball field as a tribute to players, fans, coaches, area businesses, etc. Order forms are available at JOB Construction or Poteau High School.

The Poteau Winter Baseball Hitting Camp will take place on Wednesday and Thursday at Town Creek Park. The camp for youth in first, second and third grades will take place from 9 to 10:45 a.m. daily, while the camp for fourth-, fifth- and sixth-graders will take place from 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
Cost is $35 per camper for both days and $25 per camper for one day. Registrtation will begin at 8 a.m. daily.

There will be a benefit golf tournament for Megan Sullins at 10 a.m. next Saturday at Wolf Ridge Golf Course.
Entry fee for the two-person scramble is $50 per person.
Mulligans cost $10 each.
There will be lunch served after the event.
All proceeds will help Sullins fund her medical costs as the Panama first-grade teacher battles breast cancer.

There will be a 3-on-3 fundraising basketball tournament by the Panama High School basketball seniors Feb. 9 at the Panama High School gym. Entry fee is $80 per team, with the deadline to enter Feb. 1.
