Sunday Couple Scrambles at Wolf Ridge Golf Course will take place at 2 p.m. Sundays.

The Poteau Lady Pirates Dugout Club is selling personalized bricks to be placed in the backstop at the Poteau High School softball field as a tribute to players, fans, coaches, area businesses, etc. Order forms are available at JOB Construction or Poteau High School. There will be a 3-on-3 fundraising basketball tournament by the Panama High School basketball seniors Feb. 9 at the Panama High School gym. Former Whitesboro coach Steve Linker, who died last year, will have the posthumous honor of having the Whitesboro High School gymnasium named in his honor during the Jan. 17 games against Buffalo Valley.
Linker coached at Whitesboro for 17 years.
