Registration is now open for the 2013 LeFlore County Express Fall Soccer League.
Registration can be done through the Internet at www.leflorecountysoccer.com.
Registration will end May 31.
Cost is $35 per child registered until May 31. Beginning June 1, cost per child will increase to $40.

The LeFlore County Soccer Association will have a general meeting and mandatory coaches meeting at 5:30 p.m. May 30 at the Department of Human Services meeting room in Poteau.
The new soccer facilities, the Fall 2013 season changes and an interaction time for suggestions and concerns to be shared are the key items on the agenda.

The Howe Basketball Camp will take place Monday through Wednesday at the Howe Gym.
Cost is $40 per camper. The girls camp will take place from 9 a.m. to noon daily, while the boys camp will run from 1 to 4 p.m.

The 2013 Spiro Basketball Summer Camp will take place later this month at the Spiro Multipurpose Gym.
The camp for those campers who will enter grades six through eight in August will take place from 9 a.m. to noon Tuesday through Thursday. Cost is $30 per camper.
The camp for those entering grades kindergarten through two will be from 9 a.m. to noon May 28-30. Cost is $30 per camper.
The camp for those entering grades three through five will be from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. May 28-30. Cost is $30.
Those who register by Thursday will be guaranteed a camp T-shirt. For additional information, call (918) 605-1840.

The first annual Carl Albert State College/Poteau High School Softball Camp will be from 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday and Thursday at the Poteau High School softball field.
Cost is $40 per camper. If a family has more than one child, it will be $35 a child, and a group discount of $35 a child for teams that send at least five or more off a team.
The camp is for girls who will enter grades two through eight in August. Campers will need to bring gloves, bats, cleated shoes, water, sunscreen and money for concessions as the concession stand will be open.
Any former players wishing to help out are encouraged to do so.

The Poteau Quarterback Club Youth Football Camp will take place from 8 to 10 a.m. Wednesday through Friday at Costner Stadium and football fieldhouse.
The cost is $25 per camper. Campers who register early will get the chance to request T-shirt sizes, or be at pre-registration at 7:45 a.m. Wednesday.

The 2013 Poteau Coed Church Softball League registration has begun.
Any church that is interested in playing at the Poteau Area Recreational Complex this summer needs to contact Billy Bond at (918) 647-1939.
The entry fee is $400 per team. Deadline to entry is June 26.
League will begin play on July 8 or 9.

The Mark Sullivan “Mud Duck” Junior Golf Camp will be June 18-20 at Choctaw Country Club.

The accompanying Mark Sullivan “Mud Duck” Junior Golf Tournament will be June 24 at Choctaw Country Club.

The 16th annual Poteau Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament will take place June 24 at Choctaw Country Club.
There will be two rounds totally 18 holes of golf, one beginning at 8 a.m. and one at 1 p.m. Check-in will begin one hour before each round will begin.
There is a 60-team limit for the two-player event. Entry fee is $50 per person or $100 per team.
Early bird registration will end June 12, and the cut off date for registering will be 5 p.m. June 19. Those who register by June 12 will receive a Ping-style golf shirt.
There will be a hole-in-one prize awarded.
Breakfast and lunch will be served prior to each round.

The Future State Champ Baseball Camp will take place Monday through Wednesday in Red Oak.
The camp for those students going into kindergarten through third grade in August is 9 a.m. to noon daily.
The camp for those going into grades four through eight will be 1 to 4 p.m. daily.
Cost is $40 per camper, and all campers will receive T-shirts.

The Red Oak Basketball Camps will take place next week at C.C. Gillespie Fieldhouse.
The camp for those campers going into grades kindergarten through third grade will be 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday and Friday, while the camps for those entering grades four through seven will be from noon to 3 p.m.
Cost is $40 for the first child, and a discount of $35 per camper if there are two or more campers from the same family. Each camper will receive T-shirts.

The “Camp of Champions” basketball camp will take place from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 11-14 on Chris Gillespie Court at Ray Henson Gymnasium on the campus of Talihina High School.
Cost is $40, with a $20 deposit for pre-registering.
