Registration is open for the 2013 LeFlore County Express Fall Soccer League. Registration can be done through the Internet at www.leflorecountysoccer.com.
Late registration cost per child is $40. Payment method details are available at the website.

There will be age 8-, 10- and 12-and-younger softball leagues at the Poteau Area Recreational Complex this fall. The entry fee is $250 for 8- and 10-and-younger teams, while the entry fee is $300 for the 12-and-younger teams. Games will begin the week of Sept. 16 and end the week of Oct. 23. There will be a fall baseball coach-pitch league in Heavener.
The league will begin its season in September and last for four weeks. The league is open to only the first eight teams. For additional information, call Bobby Pickle at (918) 721-3492.

The 31st annual Carl Albert Coaches Golf Classic will take place at 10 a.m. Sept. 9 at Choctaw Country Club. Registration will begin at 9 a.m.
Entry fee is $50 per player, which includes green fees and golf carts. Players may form their own four-player teams, otherwise players will be assigned to a team. For additional information, call (918) 647-1376.

There will be a 7-3 coed softball tournament all day Sept. 21 at the Poteau Area Recreational Complex.
The entry fee is $125 per team. On home runs, three can be hit per game per team. To purchase the right to hit four additional homers per game is $10 or $50 will give teams an unlimited number of homers.
All funds raised will benefit the Poteau Lady Pirates track team to help pay for expenditures and help purchase equipment.
Men have to use core 44 bats, while women can use any bats. The deadline to enter is noon Sept. 19. For additional information or to enter, call Billy Bond at (918) 647-1939.

The Heavener Tip-N Club will be have a 7-3 coed softball tournament Sept. 21.
