The 2012 Poteau Cross Country Booster Club Running Camp will be from 8 to 11 a.m. Wednesday through Friday at Costner Stadium. Entry fee is $40 per camper. The camp is open to boys and girls ages 5 through 12.
Registration will also take place from 7:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.

The Wolf Ridge Women's Golf Association seventh annual 2-Lady Invitational Scramble will begin with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. this morning at Wolf Ridge Golf Course.

The 2012 Spiro Basketball Summer Camps will take place later this month.
The camp for those who will be entering grades six through eight will be from 9 a.m. to noon today through Thursday at the Spiro Gym.
The camp for those who will be entering grades kindergarten through two will be from 9 a.m. to noon May 29-31.

The LeFlore County Youth Services Golf Tournament and Dinner will take place at 10 a.m. Thursday at Choctaw Country Club, with registration beginning at 9 a.m. Thursday and lunch will be provided.
The entry fee is $50 per person for the four-player scramble, which inlcudes one free mulligan. Extra mulligans will cost $5 each, with a limit of two per player. Entry forms can be picked up at the LCYS office or entry may be done prior to the start of the tournament.
Special guest for the event is Baseball Hall of Fame relief pitcher Rich “Goose” Gossage, who will be at both the golf tournament and the dinner, which will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at The Community State Bank Ops Center. Tickets cost $25, and may be purchased at the LCYS office, the Poteau Chamber of Commerce or The Community State Bank.
An auction will take place prior to the golf tournament for the opportunity to play with Gossage, who will be speaking and signing autographs at the dinner that night.
There will be a silent auction at the dinner, with all proceeds benefitting LeFlore County Youth Services.

The Billy Ray Hoffman Invitational will take place June 2-3 at Wolf Ridge Golf Course.
The entry fee for the two-person scramble is $160 per person, which will include golf cart and a practice round on June 1. The deadline to enter is Friday. For additional information, call (918) 647-7274.

The eighth annual "Hooked on Fishin'" Kids Tournament will take place from 7 a.m. until noon June 2 at Long Lake Resort.
Entry fee is $30 per boat.
There will be two age divisions, ages 8 to 11 and ages 12 to 15. Each child must be accompanied by an adult.
Trophies will be awarded to all 50 places, and prizes will be awarded for the top three finishers in each division.

The Choctaw Country Club Church League will begin play at 5:30 p.m. June 4 and will take place at the same time every Monday for eight straight weeks.

The second annual Duck Martin 14 Foundation PIT Camp Fundraising 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament will take place June 9 at both Wister gyms.
There will be eight teams in eight divisions, third-fourth grade boys, third-fourth grade girls, fifth-sixth grade boys, fifth-sixth grade girls, junior high boys, junior high girls, high school boys and high school girls.

The third annual Village 2 Village Golf Tournament will begin with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. June 23 at Wolf Ridge Golf Course.
Entry fee for the four-man scramble is $280 per team. After June 16, the entry fee will increase to $320.
Entry fee includes green fees, cart and a barbecue lunch.
Mulligans will be available at $5 each with a limit of one per nine holes.

The First Serve Tennis Clinics will begin June 4 in Fort Smith, Ark.

The Sam Bradford Football ProCamp presented by Chesapeake Energy and in partnership with The Oklahoman will be July 10-11 at the University of Oklahoma Intramural Fields.
Bradford will be on site the entire camp to direct camp activities and provide instruction. He will be joined by a selection of the top prep and college coaches from the Norman area.
The camp is open to boys and girls ages 7 to 14 and focuses on the team concept and fundamentals of football.
Groups will be small to ensure that each camper gets personalized instruction.
Bradford, a former OU quarterback, Heisman Trophy winner and current St. Louis Rams quarterback, will also give daily talks highlighting the finer points of the game of football and beyond.
Each camper receives an autographed camp team photo with Bradford, camp T-shirt, goodie bag and the opportunity to win additional prizes.
Spots are limited, so campers are encouraged to register early.
Cost of the ProCamp is $199.
