Stanton Optical donates eyeglasses

Stanton Optical offers prescription eyeglasses, contact lenses and sunglasses to customers at their 30 stores in Alabama, California, Illinois, Ohio, Tennessee, Wisconsin, Indiana, Nebraska, Texas, New York, Georgia and Florida.

Stanton Optical is especially proud of its community commitment and its work with non profit and charity groups. They work closely with various non profit and humanitarian groups. Together these groups are focused on enriching communities to create a safer environment for the people who live in them. An example of Stanton Optical's commitment to community can be seen in its recent work with New Eyes for the Needy. Stanton Optical donated 917 pairs of used eyeglasses to this charitable organization. These prescription sunglasses were distributed to people in developing countries who could not afford to purchase them.

Corporate sponsorship is also important to Stanton Optical. These efforts foster a sense among employees of the importance of giving back to the communities where they live and work. Stanton Optical chose to make a corporate donation, in one employee's name, to Team in Training in support of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. This employee is working on and participating in the Dopey Challenge as part of the Disney Marathon in Orlando in 2014.
