November 5, 2011

STIGLER — The Spiro Bulldogs were needing some help to make it into the playoffs besides beating the Stigler Panthers in Friday night's District 3A-8 contest.
Spiro needed either Valliant or Idabel to lose its game and the ‘Dogs to beat the Panthers to make the playoffs. It did not happen.
Stigler nipped Spiro 34-27 to improve to 9-1 overall and 6-1 in district play as it prepares for the Class 3A playoffs.
