An early morning house fire has destroyed the home of a Summerfield family.
At about 12:30 a.m. Saturday morning, the home of Barbara Grey burned to the ground, according to neighbors.
Grey was at home at the time of the fire and was able to get out safely.
Multiple fire departments responded to the blaze and was able to keep the fire from spreading to nearby storage buildings and a barn.
Grey's daughter, son-in-law and two grandchildren who live with her, were not home at the time of the fire.
