Suspects sought in Heavener armed robbery

April 13, 2012

A local business is recovering after armed assailants
assaulted the clerk and robbed them Wednesday morning.
According to Heavener Assistant Chief of Police
Lester English, three people entered the Selecito Market
Wednesday at approximately 9:45 a.m. wearing face
masks, brandishing handguns and demanding money
from the clerk. The men then fled the scene with an
undisclosed amount of cash.
The store had a functioning surveillance system
which recorded the robbery and police have since
reviewed the footage in attempts to identify the suspects.
According to the video footage, two of the suspects
wore face masks obscuring their features while the third
wore what was described as a dark stocking. Police
believe the three suspects are possibly Caucasian after
the clerk described them as speaking fluent english
without an accent.
Two of the suspects are approximately 5’8” and have
a thin build while the third suspect is taller and heavier.
All three are believed to be male.
It is unknown at this time if the three suspects used a
vehicle in the commission of the robbery or if they fled
the scene on foot. Heavener Police were still investigating
the robbery Thursday morning in attempts to apprehend
the robbers.
The three robbery suspects are considered armed and
dangerous and English advised if they are encountered
do not approach them and immediately contact your
local law enforcement agency.
If you have information regarding the suspects or
robbery contact the Heavener Police Department at
