Talihina boys split first two games in 2012 Broken Bow Tournament; Tuesday's game vs. Ashdown, Ark., rained out; rest of tournament canceled

March 21, 2012

IDABEL — The Talihina Golden Tigers baseball team split its first two games in the 2012 Broken Bow Tournament on Monday.
Talihina ended the day with a 16-3 run-rule win over the Caddo Bruins after being humbled by the Idabel Warriors 8-2.
The Golden Tigers (4-4) were slated to meet their final pool play game Tuesday afternoon against Ashdown, Ark., but the game was rained out. In fact, the rest of the tournament was canceled.
Editor's Note — Pocola's home game with Red Oak and Wister's road game at Hackett, Ark., on Tuesday were both rained out, and neither contest will likely be rescheduled.
