Talihina cherishes A-6 title, perfect regular season ... but Golden Tigers focusing on playoffs, Stratford Bulldogs

November 14, 2013

The Talihina Golden Tigers football team wrapped up a perfect regular season and a District A-6 title Friday night with a 48-8 rout of the Gore Pirates. Make no mistake, the Golden Tigers (10-0) are pleased with both goals being accomplished.
However, that's all good, but now it's time to focus on the Class A playoffs, which will begin at 7:30 p.m. Friday against the Stratford Bulldogs (6-4) at Doc Robinson Stadium.
“We're glad we won the district championship and wrapped up an undefeated season,” Talihina coach Kelly Gravitt said. “We're really proud of them. We're healthy, and we're proud of that. But we've forgotten all about that now. We're just focusing on the Stratford Bulldogs.”
