Talihina footballers to scrimmage at home tonight against Valliant

August 17, 2012

The Talihina Golden Tigers football team will get its first taste of what Friday nights will be like when they entertain the Valliant Bulldogs for their first scrimmage of the 2012 season at 6 p.m. tonight at Doc Robinson Stadium.
The best thing about tonight's scrimmage for the Golden Tigers is they can finally go against somebody other than their teammates.
“We're going to be getting to hit on somebody besides ourselves,” Talihina Coach Kelly Gravitt said. “I hope we get through it injury free. We need to get some more reps. Being a small school like we are, we have small numbers. Our No. 1s are going against our underclassmen. We're looking to get some good reps in.”
