Talihina gets one more non-district game, visits Antlers tonight

September 23, 2011

With the quirk among schedules for District 2A-6, each team is guaranteed four non-district games.
The luck for the Talihina Golden Tigers is they get to get another non-district game under their belts before entering district play. They will play that last non-District 2A-6 contest at 7:30 p.m. tonight at Antlers.
“I think it can be a positive thing for us,” Talihina Coach Kelly Gravitt said about having a fourth straight non-district game. “We were fortunate to get our fourth non-district game in Week 4 to get them all out of the way for district play. If the kids keep improving every week, it can be a help. We're glad that this is our last non-district game. We hope we can come out of it injury free and get ready for district play.”
