Talihina Golden Tigers get state quarterfinal rematch with Cashion ’Cats tonight

Last year at this time, the Talihina Golden Tigers football team was preparing to meet the Cashion Wildcats in the Class A state quarterfinals at Doc Robinson Stadium. The ‘Cats came to “The Pit” and left 43-24 victors to make the state semifinals.
A year later, in the same spot of the Class A playoffs, the same two teams will do battle as the Golden Tigers (12-0) will travel to meet the Wildcats (10-2) at 7:30 tonight in Cashion.

To Get There — Take Oklahoma State Highway 1 west to McAlester. Take the Indian Nation Turnpike north to Henryetta. Take Interstate 40 west to Oklahoma City. Once in OKC, continue through downtown to Interstate 44 at the State Fairgrounds. Take I-44 east to Oklahoma State Highway 74 [Lake Hefner Parkway]. Take Highway 74 north to Oklahoma State Highway 74F, located five miles north of Waterloo Road, which is the Oklahoma/Logan county line. Turn left on Highway 74F to Cashion.
