July 16, 2013

Candidates for two seats on the Talihina Board of Trustees will begin filing their declarations of candidacy at 8 a.m. Monday at the LeFlore County Election Board.
The filing period will close at 5 p.m. Wednesday, according to Election Board Secretary Sharon Steele.
Candidates will file for a four-year term on the board and a two-year unexpired term.
The nonpartisan special municipal election will be held Sept. 10, Steele said.
