Talihina opens season by routing Wilburton Diggers

TALIHINA — Talihina started the season with an impressive 70-22 win over the Wilburton Diggers on Friday night at Doc Robinson Stadium as the Golden Tigers ran hard, passed well and outran the Diggers 46-8 in the first half.
Wilburton scored eight points with a minute left in the first half after a fumble by the second-string quarterback of Talihina.
