Talihina team improves in its three-way scrimmage

September 2, 2013

TALIHINA — The Talihina Golden Tigers had their second football scrimmage of the preseason with Class 3A Roland and Class 2A Vian on Friday night at Doc Robinson Stadium, and they showed lots of improvement from the previous scrimmage against Valliant — on both defense and offense.
The Golden Tigers started on defense first, and completely shut down the Wolverines on the first series.
On Talihina's first offensive series against Vian, the Golden Tigers had 10 plays which netted about 60 yards of offense — but failed to score.
