Former Talihina Golden Tiger Jordan EagleRoad,  a 6-1 shooting guard has signed a letter of intent to play basketball for the Carl Albert State College Vikings for the 2013-14 season.
Carl Albert being close to Talihina was a huge factor in EagleRoad choosing CASC.
“Coming to CASC will allow my family and friends to come watch me play,” EagleRoad said. “I chose Carl Albert because it was close to home, the people were nice and they made me feel like I was at home.”
Keeping talent local is important to CASC men's coach Mike St. John.
“For us to be able to provide an opportunity for a student from LeFlore County with his potential is an inspiring opportunity,” he said. “We are not always afforded the occasion to have in our programs the upper echelon athlete from our county.”
