Team Knight wins on Sardis

SARDIS WINNERS — Here are the top three teams from Saturday's LeFlore County Bass Club's open tournament at Potato Hills South on Sardis Lake. The LeFlore County Bass Club had its first open tournament of 2014 Saturday at Potato Hills South on Sardis Lake. There were 23 boats filled with anglers who caught a combined total of 47 fish with weighed a combined 155.92 pounds. Each fish caught averaged 3.32 pounds, and seven limits were caught.
The Knight duo of Justin and Dakota won the event with a total of 27.68 pounds, which is a club record on a five-fish limit stringer, to earn them $500. Among the fish hauled in was Justin's big bass winner of 7.85 pounds to earn him an additional $200.
Haskell and A.J. Higgins were second (20.5 pounds, $300), while Jeff Hardin and Dennis Roper were third (16.51, $200).
