Well, we made it back from Tennessee without incident. The Smokey Mountains are awesome, and there are a bunch of deer and turkeys out there. I am planning a hunting trip to “The Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area” in the near future.
We spent part of the vacation on the shores of Kentucky Lake, and got to fish just a bit even though the weather was not very good. Wally Burchett let us stay in his cabin, which is bigger than my house.
Cash and his buddy, Jeffery Morris, loved it. We had a fire every night because I believe Wally let Paul Bunyan cut his firewood for him. He had as much firewood as Dan Carter.

I may be having to move this column to Friday editions so there will be ample room to get the stories in for Thursday editions on what happens on Tuesdays.
So, if you don't see me next Thursday's edition, I'll likely be in the next day's edition.
Have a great week!
