Thelma Mae Black Whitmore

Thelma Mae Black Whitmore, 77, of Bokoshe died away Friday, March 8, 2013, in Bokoshe.
Thelma was born August 10, 1935 in Milton to Luther and Ina Grace (Painter) Nixon. She was a homemaker and a member of New Life Church in Panama. Thelma was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Glen Black and William Whitmore; brothers, Robert, Vernon, Jodie and Jimmie; and sisters, Lelia, Irene, Jeanita and Oteka.
Survivors include her daughters, Katy McDaniel and husband Larry of Lavaca, Ark., Glenda Craig and husband, Dwayne of Spiro; son, David Black Jr. and wife Carolyn of Shady Point; grandchildren, Tony and Tory Craig and Amanda Sullivan, Jennifer and Jared Black, Amy and Peyton McDaniel; great-grandchildren, Maverick and Jaimee Sullivan, Jayden, Kadon, Kiana Craig and Kinsley Dees, Blaine Black , Lauralye Smith; sisters, Dimple Rogers of Poteau, Hazel Partain of Spiro; brother-in-law, R.D. Bryant; and other relatives and loved ones. 
Services were held Monday, March 11, at New Life Church, Panama with the Revs. Joe Pierce, Doug Nixon, and Brian Fout officiating. Burial was in Old Bokoshe Cemetery. Pallbearers were Tony Craig, Tory Craig, Jared Black, Brad Myers, Maverick Sullivan and Randy Bryant.
