Thomas Clifton “T.C.” Fortner

Thomas Clifton “T.C.” Fortner, 86, of Monroe, died July 28, 2012, in Poteau. T.C. was born July 6, 1926, in Monroe to Thomas and Leona “Lona” (Anderson) Fortner. He was an insurance adjuster. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Clara Murphree and Jerry Miller; and two brothers, V.I. and Edward Fortner. 
Survivors include his wife, Doris Fortner; two sons, Larry and Tommy Fortner; four grandchildren, Amy, Shayne, Jason, Christy; and seven great-grandchildren, Lexxi, Dalton, Dillan, Destiney, Dawson, Tucker and Payton.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
