OKLAHOMA CITY — After regaining the best record in the National askBetball Association, the Oklahoma City Thunder looked rather sluggish against the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday night at Chesapeake Energy Arena — at least during parts of the game.
That type of play led to a large lead for the Nets, and, despite a valiant comeback by the Thunder, ended with a loss at home to Brooklyn by a score of 110-93.
Following up their 12-game win streak, the Thunder have gone 3-3 over its past six games. The Thunder played well during the streak, but have struggled in recent games. OKC’s schedule doesn’t get any easier the rest of January as the Thunder play 11 of its next 14 games on the road, although the next game is a 7 p.m. home contest tonight against the Philadelphia 76ers.
